SULTANS  TOMBS:  there are five tombs of Ottoman Sultans within the graveyard at St. Sophia. The ceramic panels are the most beautiful examples of the 16th century with purple, green, blue, and red flower motives. Prince robes and a small piece from the Kaaba covers are displayed on the sarcophaguses. (Sultans Tombs closed on Monday, replaced with Little Hagia Sophia Mosque)

TOPKAPI PALACE: The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries, housing an exquisite collection of precious gems, jewelry thrones of sultans, costumes worn by the sultans and their families; miniatures, the Holy Mantle; CHAMBER OF SACRED RELICS.

(Harem is not included in the program and visit is due to extra entrance fee.)

Dolmabahce Palace-Situated on the Europian shores of the Bosphorus. It was built between 1843-1856. by Karabet Balyan, the architect of Sultan Abdulmecid with elements of roccoco, baroque style. The palace witnessed some od key events in Turkey’s recent political history. In 1877. The First Parliament convended in the Grand hall. Ataturk died in the room number 71.

Royal Garden of Dolmabahce Palace-Beautiful garden where you can walk and enjoy in the view of palace and Bosphour.

Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan Mosque-Located next to Dolmabahce palace. The mosque was built for the Sultan Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan, the mother of Abdulmecid. Decorations were inspired by the French empire style.

The Clock Tower-Stands in front of Dolmabahce palace. It was built during reign of Abdulhamit II. Clock tower such as this in that period were built to inform people when is time for praying.
